up from the dust

Most of the people don’t really live according to their
philosophy. They can talk about it well, but their life
testifies against their well rhyming words.
The difference between man’s thoughts and words can
be enormous, the same with his words and actions.
God cannot lie. Titus 1:2
This is one of the most beautiful characteristics of God.
There is no distance between his thoughts, words and action.
From his works we can study his thoughts and from his words
we can know his works. They agree.
He is not only full of truth, He is the Truth in it’s cause,
action and effect.
Last night we started a new semester
in the Istanbul Bible Institute.
I cannot think of any better way for people to be together.
There is no greater activity for man than thinking with God.
It brings the greatest joy to our soul.
The theme verse for this semester is Psalm 119:25
“My soul clings to the dust; revive me according to Your word.”
Without the Word of God man’s soul is full of dust.
We think like angels , but act like animals.
The teaching of the Word of God graciously narrows
the huge gaps between our thoughts and words and actions.
Sometimes those gaps are much bigger than what we
even dared to believe. John 3:18-21
