Pastor Schaller’s opening message for the Convention
was so encouraging.
He spoke about two laws that exist in the universe,
the law of gravity and the law of grace.
The story in II Kings 6 about the disciple dropping
his borrowed ax is a good description of these two
principles.
Naturally our lives go down and we sense the guilt
because ”it was borrowed” and we know that we have
to pay for it. In the same time we experience this
powerful guilt and frustration understanding how
inadequate we are with our options to pay.
Grace makes the iron to float.
Praise God, our life is not limited to gravity.
We are the swimming iron today.
We should sink, but we come up over and over again.
Grace becomes greater.
